This painting is inspired by cathedral stained glass windows and the choral piece “Nunc Dimittis” by Arvo Pärt.
Cathedrals and choral music hold a special place in my heart; it’s the kind of music I could listen to endlessly. In this painting, I have tried to depict both visual elements as well as emotional responses to the sound of music echoing within the cathedral walls.
