Frequently asked questions
Questions about a painting, a book or a course? You’ll find the essentials here. For anything else, get in touch.
Original paintings
What materials do you use?
I work with acrylic paint, inks, collage and other mixed media, including oil sticks, pastels and pencils. The materials, dimensions and support are described on each artwork’s page.
Is the painting framed and ready to hang?
Check the individual listing for framing and hanging details. A painting delivered on its stretcher or panel will normally have hanging fittings attached. If you choose rolled canvas delivery, the canvas arrives without its stretcher and must be professionally stretched before hanging. Stretching and any framing you arrange locally are at your expense.
Can I see more photographs or view a painting?
Please contact me with the title of the work. I can help with further details and discuss whether a studio viewing in Surrey can be arranged. Screen colours vary, so photographs are a guide; this does not affect your rights if an item is faulty or not as described.
What if the painting I wanted has sold?
You can explore available paintings or ask about a similar work. A sold painting may remain in the archive as a record of my practice.
Do you accept commissions?
I welcome enquiries about larger works and groups of paintings. Visit Commissions to find out more. We will agree the brief, price, payment stages and delivery arrangements in writing before work begins.
Books, cards and prints
Where can I find your book and card set?
See Books & Prints for the current selection. Each listing explains the format, what is included, availability and any delivery offer that applies.
Are fine art prints available?
I release prints occasionally, including through time-limited releases. Check the Fine art prints page for current availability. The listing for each release will specify its paper, size, edition, signing, framing and dispatch details. Most paintings are available only as originals.
Delivery and returns
Where do you deliver?
Delivery of original paintings is free to mainland Great Britain. Checkout calculates available rates for supported destinations in Europe, the USA and Canada. For other destinations, or where no suitable option appears, please contact me for a quote before ordering. Books, cards and prints have their own delivery terms shown with the product and at checkout.
Can I collect from your studio?
Collection in Surrey can be arranged by appointment. Please contact me before ordering if collection is not offered at checkout.
Can I return my purchase?
Most UK consumer purchases of physical goods made online have a 14-day cancellation period after delivery. Different rules can apply to genuinely personalised commissions and digital content. See Shipping & Returns for the full process, costs and exceptions. Your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed items are protected.
Online courses and digital guides
Where do I access my purchase?
Courses and digital guides are accessed through my Teachable school. Log in here using the email address on your receipt. Visit the courses hub to explore the current courses and resources.
What if I cannot log in or find my course?
Start with Course help & troubleshooting. If you still need help, email courses@kasiaclarke.com with the course name and your purchase email. Please do not send your password or login codes.
Are courses live or self-paced?
The current courses are pre-recorded and self-paced. Check each course page for its content, materials, access arrangements and any offer-specific terms before purchasing.
