Shipping & returns

I want your purchase to reach you safely and for you to understand the delivery and return arrangements before ordering. For art and physical orders, email kasia@kasiaclarke.com. For courses and digital guides, email courses@kasiaclarke.com.

Delivery costs and destinations

Original paintings: delivery is free to mainland Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales, excluding offshore islands). Available shipping rates for supported destinations in Europe, the USA and Canada are calculated at checkout. Northern Ireland, offshore islands and other destinations may require a separate quote. If checkout does not offer delivery for your address, please contact me before ordering.

For books, cards and prints, the product listing and checkout show the delivery charge or any included-delivery offer. A delivery promotion applies only to the products and period stated. Bespoke shipping arrangements and their cost must be agreed before an order is accepted; no additional shipping charge will be added without your agreement.

Stretched and rolled paintings

Available delivery formats depend on the work and destination. Where rolled canvas delivery is offered, the painting is removed from its stretcher and carefully rolled for transport. You will need to arrange and pay for professional stretching, and any framing, locally. Paintings on panels cannot be rolled. Check the product and checkout details so you know which format you are ordering.

Dispatch and arrival

I normally aim to dispatch in-stock original paintings within five working days. Specialist transport, commissions, books and print releases may have different timings, which will be stated with the product or agreed with you. Transit times vary by destination and service; please contact me before ordering if you need a particular arrival date.

Unless we agree a different delivery period, physical goods will be delivered within 30 days. If there is a delay, I will contact you. Your legal rights to set an appropriate further deadline or cancel where the law allows remain unaffected.

Studio collection in Surrey is by appointment. Please contact me first if collection is not available at checkout. I remain responsible for goods until you, or a person you nominate, receives them, except where you independently appoint a carrier I have not offered.

Customs and import charges

International orders may attract import taxes, duties and handling charges. Unless checkout or our written agreement states that these are included, they are payable by the recipient. Please check your destination’s requirements before ordering. Customs processing may affect delivery times.

Changing your mind: physical goods

For UK consumer orders placed online, you can normally cancel from the time you order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason. For an order delivered in separate parts, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item. This covers standard original paintings, books, cards and prints, including limited editions.

Email me a clear cancellation statement within that period. You may use the optional form below, but do not have to. Send the goods back within 14 days after telling me. Please contact me for the appropriate return address; the PO Box below is for correspondence. Contact me for return arrangements; your cancellation does not depend on my approval. Pack the item securely, ideally using the original packaging, and keep evidence of sending it.

You bear the direct cost of a change-of-mind return where this was disclosed before purchase. Large artworks may require specialist transport: the return cost or a reasonable estimate must be provided before purchase where they cannot normally be returned by post. If the required return-cost information was not provided, I will bear that cost. A tracked, appropriately insured service is recommended.

Your refund

I will refund the price and the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery option offered for the order. Any extra you chose to pay for premium delivery is not refundable on a change-of-mind cancellation. I will not deduct an undisclosed delivery cost where delivery was included.

Refunds use the original payment method, unless we agree otherwise, with no refund fee. They will be made without undue delay and within 14 days after I receive the goods back or you provide evidence of sending them, whichever is earlier. If I offer to collect them, the refund deadline is 14 days after your cancellation notice. I may deduct a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning, where the law permits.

Commissions and personalised items

The change-of-mind cancellation right does not normally apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you. This will be explained before you order. A limited edition or an item printed after ordering is not automatically exempt simply for that reason. Rights relating to faults and descriptions still apply.

Damage, faults or the wrong item

Please tell me as soon as you reasonably can if something arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect. Photographs of the item and packaging help me investigate, but are not a condition of your legal rights. There is no 48-hour cut-off for reporting a fault.

UK consumers generally have a 30-day right to reject faulty or misdescribed goods, followed by rights to repair or replacement and, in appropriate cases, a price reduction or refund. I will cover reasonable return costs where the goods are faulty, damaged in transit or not as described. Please contact me so we can arrange a suitable service.

Orders outside the UK

Your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not excluded by your location. Please contact me about a cancellation, fault or return so I can explain the arrangements for your order. Any additional rights provided by the law that applies to you remain available.

Courses and digital guides

Digital purchases have separate rules. Where UK cancellation rights apply, the usual period is 14 days from the contract date. For immediate digital supply, that right is lost only once supply begins after your express consent and acknowledgement that you will lose it, with the required confirmation provided. Simply purchasing or logging in does not itself establish those conditions.

Any additional course guarantee offered on the sales page or at checkout also applies. Your rights if digital content is faulty or not as described are unaffected. Contact courses@kasiaclarke.com for help; physical return postage does not apply to digital products.
